Why use game-eyez?

Game-eyez glasses are made with light-blocking technology that reduces eyestrain. While helping with eyestrain symptoms such as occasional blurred vision, eye fatigue or red/burning eyes, game-eyez can also drastically reduce the severity and frequency of monitor-related headaches. The product also increases color contrast, or the relative difference between light and dark areas of a screen. 

Furthermore, game-eyez prevent cortisol elevation at night when you are exposed to artificial light under the stress of work or gaming. Studies have shown that chronic cortisol elevation compromises performance. Each lens is meticulously crafted to provide the maximum protection from specific wavelengths of light that trigger eye irritation and cortisol elevation. In effect, lower cortisol levels can reduce stress levels and coupled with the ability of the lenses to improve color contrast, can increase overall performance and alertness while working or gaming.

What makes our game-eyez lenses so special?

Working in cooperation with IT professionals and online gamers, our optometrists developed a light blocker lens system to combine with a high quality, comfortable design to bring you game-eyez.

The lenses are optically correct, scratch-resistant polycarbonate with a special coating process that involves meticulously applying over 20 coatings of a strictly controlled thickness to the lenses. These coatings are designed to filter out a narrow range of light that causes eyestrain and elevated cortisol during light exposure at night. The last layer is an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare.
